Advent is the season when we prepare ourselves to receive God’s gift of Jesus. It is the four weeks prior to Christmas and is a time of “getting ready” for the coming birth of Jesus. At WordServe Church this year we are inviting all our families to join us in preparing for and celebrating Jesus’ birth together.
DIY Advent Logs
11.25 | 1 - 4 p.m.
Make your own Advent Log is a come and go event upstairs in The Ministry Center. All materials are provided, all you need to bring is the family! You can decorate your log however you wish. Coloring pages and activities will be available for the little kids.
Communion Class
12.2 | 12 p.m.
Why do we take Communion? Why do we use bread and juice? What should we say? What does it mean? If you have any questions about Communion, never fear we are offering the class for you! The Communion for Kids class is located in the Ministry Center and open to any Elementary age student and a parent that would like to join.

FaithFULL Kids Packing Party

This school year, FaithFULL Kids packing parties are being held on the first Sunday of every month at the WordServe Church Ministry Center. We hope you will join us for this regularly scheduled Packing Party as well as the special Christmas Packing Party on December 16. As always, all are welcome to serve!
Traditions Party
12.9 | 1 - 4 p.m.
Every family has Christmas Traditions that make the season even more special. This year, let’s start a tradition of sharing and serving as a church family! The Christmas Traditions Party will be held at the WordServe Ministry Center where the whole family will have an opportunity to enjoy cookies and fellowship while making the world a better place. We encourage everyone to bring cookies to share as well as participate in two missions 1) Sweets for Seniors and 2) Blankets for the Homeless. Click here for more information.
Serve Saturday
12.15 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 12 - 4 p.m.
We will continue work on the home remodel we began this fall for a local resident. We will work in two shifts to remove furnishings and carpet from the master bedroom; we will paint the bedroom walls, clean and organize the room and return all furnishings to the room at the end of the day. We are looking for 4 - 6 people per shift.

FFk Packing Party with Santa

All are welcome to serve with us at the Annual FaithFULL Kids Christmas Packing Party in the WordServe Ministry Center. FaithFULL Kids Families will receive food, a single Christmas gift, and a Christmas craft and everyone will have a chance to visit with Santa! There is no sign up required for this event! See ya there!
Youth Christmas Party

This year’s Youth Christmas Party will be at Chance & Rylee Burton’s home in Weston Lakes (32611 Wedmore Place). Bring a white elephant gift and be ready for games and fun.
Birthday Party for Jesus

Christmas Eve Service

This Christmas Eve, we invite you to join us and celebrate the God who comes in flesh with a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service complete with carols and cookies! Battery operated candles will be available for the younger kids, and childcare will be available for children up to 2 years old.
This year the entire Christmas Eve offering will be given to the WordServe missions. We hope you will consider your offering as a way to put your faith into action and joyfully care for the needs of the greater Fulshear community and the world.
