Christmas Shoe BoxWordServe Church will be a community drop off location again this year!

Since 2019, WordServe has served as a local collection site for Operation Christmas Child! Despite the pandemic in 2020, WordServe collected over 800 shoe boxes at our location! A record collection for our site and one of the top ten churches in Fort Bend County! In 2021, WordServe collected over 900! As this community continues to grow, we look forward to what 2022 has in store for OCC in Fort Bend County!

Collection Week is the third week of November each year. Stay tuned for to our website for more information on how to serve prior to and during CollectionWeek.

Due to COVID, LWI trips are on hold.

However, WordServe continues to support LWI financially by co-sponsoring wells in Haiti and other South American countries each year.  As the conditions of COVID evolve, we will add trips to our summer missions when it is safe to do so.

Take a moment and watch an incredible video from the 2015 Guatemala Living Water Trip!

Joyful 1

“My life will never be the same!” – Bill B., after traveling to Nicaragua on a Compassion Trip

Each year during the summer months, WordServe sends teams out into the wider world to share God's love, to care for the needs of others, and to allow God to work in our own lives in powerful ways. Past trips have included caring for children in Colombia, hosting medical clinics in Peru, and drilling water wells in Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Honduras. At WordServe, we believe that our compassion must extend beyond the walls of our church, beyond even the boundaries of our community, and into the entire world.
