Love and Logic (Parenting Study)
Beginning Thursday, September 27, WordServe is bringing Love and Logic to YOU! All parents are welcome to attend. Rev. Heather Sims, Pastor of Family Discipleship at Chapelwood UMC, will be facilitating this eight-week parenting study where we will explore proven, effective ways to raise children. The group will meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the home of Denise Clark, 4819 Legend Creek Dr., Fulshear, TX 77441. Meetings will take place on 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, and 11/15. There is no charge to attend the class, but there is a $11 workbook.
Why is this so important? Regardless of socio-economic status, parenting education is one of the highest demands among our growing population in Fulshear/west Katy. It is THE number one key to the future health of our society. It is THE number one key to raising the next generation of Christ followers and Kingdom leaders. In addition, this is a great way to connect with people who are not yet committed to Jesus or the Church.
