Prayer is the life-blood of our relationship with God. But few really experience its fullness, typically because of the barriers we put – not fully understanding who God is, not seeing God as present in our lives, too busy to even care. Once we break through these barriers, we will see God differently. We will see prayer differently. We will experience life differently.
5/13 Who are you, God?
Our understanding of God will direct how we approach him, how we pray, etc.
5/20 Where are you?
Most of us feel frustrated in prayer, in large part because we expect God to answer our questions immediately. What happens when he doesn’t? Is he not there? Or is something else going on?
5/27 I don’t have enough time
A culture focused on efficiency, instant gratification, and profitability often does not have time for God. How can we change that in our culture?
6/3 Why should I pray?
When we realize God is the ground of our being, and not a distant ‘other’, we begin to experience the fullness of God’s presence and life.
