The Wilderness Speaks

6 words only the wilderness will teach you

Often we fear the wilderness. Its loneliness, eerie silence, adverse conditions. But what if God had a plan for the wilderness times in our lives? What if the greatest potential for transformation takes place in the wilderness? What would happen if we learned how to walk in the wilderness to see God’s grace instead of fear?

EASTER SUNDAY

4.21 | Renewal

On Sunday, April 21, join WordServe Church to celebrate Easter with a worship that is meaningful and relevant to you! Come experience God’s endless love with the WordServe family. This is a family friendly worship with the nursery available for kids in Kindergarten and younger.

Invitations to our Easter service are available online by clicking here. Download one and share with friends and family so they, too, can see why we say, at WordServe Church “Life is Different.” We will also have a Resurrection Cross set up in the green space between the buildings as a backdrop for family photos. Please feel free to bring flowers to attach to the cross.

Then, stick around after service for a special WordServe Compassion event with Common Threads who provide school uniforms and clothing for all students in need across the Lamar Consolidated School District.  Common Threads also provide services to homeless students in the district. As a church we will be collecting socks and underwear of all sizes and assembling care packages for the homeless.
